The Classic Prince is inspired by the model of that name first produced by Tissot in 1917 and relaunched, slightly modified, in 1991. Referred to as the BANANA watch because of the curve of the case that follows the curve of the wrist, these watches were illustrative and innovative for their time, embracing the new Art Deco style that was just emerging, only to express itself fully at the Paris Exhibition in 1925. Like all the models of the Heritage collection the Classic Prince bears on the dial the former stylised Tissot logo that was first designed in 1925 and the Heritage T on the crown.
